Titov park

After sightseeing, a cycling tour of the city begins by descending down the Old Town core in the direction of Tito's park bearing the name of the famous Yugoslav leader, Josip Broz Tite, who annexed Istria with the rest of Croatia. The park is today a cultural and social site, a youth gathering place and the main green oasis of the city.

Cathedral and Augustus temple

A cycling tour continues alongside the city's shore with a view of the central Roman Catholic church, the first time mentioned in the 5th century,  while its present appearance dates back to the 17th century. Following is the tour of the main city square known as the Forum where the famous temple of the Roman Emperor August – The Temple of Augustus is located (09: 30-10: 00). The temple was built during the emperor's life between the 1st BC and his death in the 14th year of the new era. By sculpting and photographing along the temple, the tour continues with the visit of other Roman remainings - a Roman mosaic that has been preserved in its original form.

Golden gate and Herkul's gate

The original town was considerably smaller and bordered by walls, so it is inevitable to visit the "Golden Gate" (the official name of the Archbishop of Sergievac) who bear that name because they once represented the main and largest entrance to the city. Clicking is followed by visiting other entrances; "Herkules Gate" and "Twin Doors" that date even back prior to the Slavoluk Sergijevac.

Amphitheatre and end of our journey

Of course, the last position is also the most famous, and that is the Pula Amphitheatre. According to the legend, the amphitheater was built of floral villas that brought stones from Učka and gradually built the wall, but the sound of the blaze kept them away and the same was built without a roof. According to actual evidence, it was built through several phases during the 1st century, and today it is the most preserved monument of antique history in Croatia. The bicycle tour ends with this station and follows a free tour of this ancient building.
